🔍 Who the Heck Am I?

I’m a 28-year old California native living in southwest Idaho with my wife Minna and our two dogs: Mac and Appa.

I played football and studied political science & criminal justice at California Lutheran University before going on to work in the California State Capitol on transportation, housing, energy, and commerce issues. I’ve also worked on hyper-competitive, nationally targeted congressional campaigns.

I also have a massive interest in personal knowledge management, notetaking tools, and practices/products that help humans retain, synthesize, and remix information to create new insights and drive progress. After all, everything is a remix.

📝 What the Heck Do I Write About?

Over the past few years, I’ve seen our media, our politics, and our communities decay into malignant, rage-filled entities that I just don’t like.

I write about politics and public policy, philosophy, personal productivity, and faith. It’s a bit of a mixed bag but I try to connect the dots to help describe our current predicaments and start conversation about how we go about fixing things.
